Sandy: Anatomy of a SuperStorm
Sandy: Anatomy of a SuperStorm

Anatomy Of A SuperStorm is a dramatic minute-by-minute account of Hurricane Sandy, which smashed into New York in October 2012.

Combining satellite imagery, CGI mapping and the powerful personal testimony of those who lived through it, this rapid-response film (made from start to finish in 12 days) analyses the meteorological causes and the infrastructural devastation wreaked by one of the largest storms in US history.

What was the toxic mix of factors that made Sandy  devastating?

A co-production for the BBC and WGBH NOVA.
